Food was served quick. Everything was hot and pretty good. I almost always find something overly negative about most BBQ joints...but Moe's was a pleasant surprise.
Price is a bit high. Small side portions. BBQ is good but they only have their vinegar based sauce and hot sauce.. No traditional mustard or molasses sauce which is disappointing. Overall fast service and very good food. Mac N Cheese was fantastic. I'd say The Shak BBQ by the mall wins out simply because they have better sauce choices.. add those and this place would get 5 stars.(Sauce does matter!)
By far the best chicken wings. I'm still looking for that good rack of ribs. Not bad but not that perfect ribs.
Unique sauces and good sized portions... I'll be back.
Moe's BBQ located on Main Street in Forest City has such a awesome atmosphere and setting. The barbecue is delicious and the sides are amazing. They do offer specials daily so be sure to check out their Facebook page if you're deciding to visit. The only complaint I would say I hear people talk about would be the pricing and the portion size, but it is not that bad.
My family ate dinner here for the first time. We had no idea how to order, but.saw someone we knew who explained. We were surprised (pleasantly) by how quickly we received our orders, but disappointed by the quality. I had smoked turkey, which was salty and covered in a strange sauce. My husband and oldest son ate barbeque, which was good. The sides were lacking - mac and cheese wasn't cheesy, and the green bean casserole was salty but decent. For the price, we.expected more.
