Worst Customer Experience Ever!!! My experience with this pharmacy was so bad it bordered on being illegal theft. I had a Rx sent to this pharmacy to be filled. Unbeknownst to me; the Rx my Dr. sent in was an over the counter $10 medication. Because this pharmacy did not have the over the counter option available they chose to switch my Rx to a $189 prescription drug. THEY DID NOT TELL ME THEY HAD MADE THIS CHANGE. I did not have my insurance information with me. When I was unable to pay for the new Rx they had selected for me I was told to return with my insurance information the following day (it was evening). After returning home I called back to ask some additional questions about this prescription and why it was so much more than my Dr. had told me it should be I was finally informed about the Rx change they had chosen to make without telling me. This is when I was informed that my Dr. had actually prescribed an over the counter drug I could purchase at almost any pharmacy (including Hardin's Drug for $10.29 - which is in the same parking lot - in a rural town where most people including myself live miles away from town). After learning this I became angry. I spoke with "John," the pharmacist on duty about what an outrage it was that they had not informed me that they had changed my Rx to one that cost 18x as much as what I was prescribed and failed to mention it when I was unable to pay. He did not seem to care. He shrugged it off with just "sorry." I will never return to this pharmacy. If I had simply paid the $179 difference without asking MANY questions I would have been ripped-off. I am literally in shock over this experience.
Could have better customer service skills
i have been going to this pharmacy for several years, I do not like any of the other ones around. I agree John the pharmacists is not the greatest, However Steve the normal pharmacists is wonderful as are all the girls that work there. If it had been a night that the regulars were there your experience would be different. I love the crew that are there they are always helpful and very personable. Anyone who feels different that is your opinion and you are entitled. However you can keep Wal-mart, Hardins and Smiths for that matter they never have the prescriptions I need anyway.... Thumbs-up to the crew!!!!!
