Great place for gatherings
The staff are always friendly and very helpful here. My favorite place when needing to use a library!
Bad Experience. The Librarian with short black hair was very rude to my 9 yr old son & myself several times during our visit. I asked to sit with my son during his internet use & was denied and sent to a chair in another area. During his internet use I watched him from where I was sitting. My son weighs 145 lbs and she told him he was taking up to much room with his legs in the very small chair they provide for internet use. I felt that was rude. Granted he was sitting like everyone else. She scolded him for playing a game on the internet which I quickly walked over & changed to YouTube since we weren't aware of no gaming. She literally scolded him for Breathing to hard while watching YouTube. She said it was to loud. I feel she had no right to scold my son any of those times & considering I was just a few feet away it would have been more appropriate to bring the concerns to the Mother instead of being mean to a child. Where are the kind librarians???
